Columbia College Chicago’s soccer team returns to East West University for games

Columbia College Chicago’s soccer team is back with an open gym where students can play and socialize with each other every Wednesday. 

Though the soccer club has been absent from the college for a couple of semesters, the campus’ soccer club, the Renegades, played at the East West University Gym on Wednesday, April 8. 

Columbia student Windy Varang, a sophomore game design major, said she was eager to help bring the club back. 

“I want other people to be inspired by what I said, regardless of your gender or background, you can still continue playing,” Varang said. 

Open gym will be meeting every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
