Columbia College Chicago seniors start preparations for commencement during the Grad Expo

Commencement is just two days away, but many students attended the last Gras Expo to make sure that all their ducks are in a row for the big day. 

From final presentations to final memories and manifest underway, the countdown to

commencement has officially begun. Students picked up graduation materials, decorated caps and prepared for one of the biggest milestones of their college careers. 

Beyond the caps and gowns, the event gave students a chance to reflect on their journey 

before walking across the stage this weekend. 

Some shared that graduation is only now beginning to feel real as they prepare to close out their 

final days as students. 

For many seniors, the event served as more than just a final graduation check-in. It became a 

moment of reflection, celebration, and anticipation before officially beginning their next chapter.
