Easter brings back Peeps, a staple of the season

Hitting the stores shelves every year around Easter, Peeps are a staple of the season. The colorful marshmallow treats bring many festive flavors to spring.

The seasonal treat can be polarizing — many enjoy the nostalgia the treat evokes, but others find the treat much too sugary.

“I really liked marshmallows growing up during Easter egg hunts or like my grandma would have them,” said first-year illustration major Taylor Fuller. “So every time I think of it I'm pretty 

happy just because it reminds me of family getting together.”
