Hundreds attend Chinatown's annual Lunar New Year parade

Chicagoans braved the cold to go out and attend the annual Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown on March 1, 2026.  The celebration started at 1 p.m. at the intersection of 24th Street and Wentworth Avenue and was a celebration of the Year of the Horse. The parade featured bright homemade signs, large dragon dioramas and hundreds of excited attendees.
