Pressures ensue as midterms come around at Columbia College Chicago

Students across Columbia College Chicago’s campus are getting ready for midterms. While some are hitting the books for traditional exams, others are preparing for theater performances, photo projects and even designing full looks, showing that midterms don’t look the same for everyone.
Midterms at the college outline that they aren't just about exams. For some students, midterms mean that they are bringing their ideas to life through hands-on projects.
For others, it means written tests.
Lily Caraballo, a fashion design major at the college, is working to bring her clothing ideas to life.
“I’m working on a dress for my pattern-making midterm,” she said. “I’ve been working on that for about two weeks now.”
